Georgia Police Academy Requirements and Georgia Police Officer Qualifications
- 21 years of age
- High School graduate or GED
- Valid Georgia or South Carolina Driver’s License
- Excellent Driving Record
- No Felony Convictions
- U.S. Citizen
- Good Physical and Mental Health
- Associate Degree preferred
- Prior Law Enforcement experience preferred.
*Certified Georgia State Peace Office is preferred, or the ability to be certified in Georgia
