Police Exam Secrets Study Guide: Police Test Review for the Police Exam

This book covers very basic information that one could learn from A.)An eighth grade English class, B.) The TV show ‘COPS’ C.) Any police officer you’ve ever meet and D.) The police department one might apply for. I would suggest this ‘book’ (if you consider a hundred or so pages stapled together in 20 font and double space with lots of blank areas) to anyone who has no idea what a police job is and whether or not they’d like to apply for one. A lot of the information is repetitive and covers the same topics more than once. It gives very general and subjective ‘tips’ and ‘hints’, which appear to me as nothing more than common sense.
For someone who will be applying for a police job soon I would actually suggest something that tests your math, memory and comprehension skills. A test prep book that has sample tests would be more useful. I would also suggest, if it’s offered, that one goes to a police workshop which is sometimes given through the police department.
It would have been helpful if I could have read the first ten pages of this ‘book’, because then I could have realized how unhelpful and repetitive the information really is.
I wish I never bought this product. So much for having spare money in my pocket.
